Built by KCL

KCL Replacement Coils, custom heat transfer coils built in Ontario

When no usable spec exists, KCL will come to your site, measure the coil that needs replacing, and build it to suit. Hot-water, chilled-water, refrigerant, and steam coils, AHRI-certified and manufactured in Ontario, with some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry.

Measure and deliver, built to suit

KCL Replacement Coils exists for the jobs where no usable documentation exists to order against, a coil with a missing nameplate, a building that’s changed hands twice since installation, or a unit too old for the original manufacturer to still support. Rather than guess from a catalog, KCL will measure the existing coil on site and build a direct replacement to fit.

Backed by over 40 years of experience serving Canada’s HVAC/R industry, every coil is AHRI-certified and manufactured in Ontario, with a nationwide network of installers if you need help getting it into the building once it arrives.

Coil and equipment types

Unit coolers

Air defrost, electric defrost, hot gas defrost, and glycol product cooler configurations for reach-in and walk-in spaces.

Condensing units

Air-cooled, water-cooled, and remote condenser configurations to match the load, indoors or out.

Air cooled condensers

Floating coil construction allows for thermal expansion without stressing the tube sheet, reducing long-term leak risk.

Fluid coolers

Standard and adiabatic configurations for outdoor installations, built in galvanized steel or aluminum to resist corrosion.

Booster coils

Circuited to increase water velocity and maximize capacity where flow is limited, offered in one to four rows of continuous tubing.

Custom and severe-duty builds

For applications outside the standard range, corrosion protection, high-temperature operation, or anything requiring an entirely new design.

Built to spec, not pulled off a shelf

Copper tubing from 5/16 to 5/8 inch, in plain, rifled, or enhanced internal surfaces, manufactured to ASME standards. Plate fins in aluminum or copper, flat, corrugated, or lanced, with multiple thickness options and coatings available for corrosion resistance, UV exposure, and antimicrobial performance.

Every coil is pressure tested for leaks before it leaves the shop, with brazed joints engineered to hold up under thermal expansion and vibration over the life of the unit.
