Fifty years of commercial display case manufacturing

Jahabow was founded in 1973 as a family-owned business in Owensville, Missouri, and has grown into one of North America’s leading manufacturers of commercial-grade retail display cases. Every case is built at the Owensville facility from glass, wood, and metal, and arrives fully assembled. Jahabow serves companies including Walmart, Kay Jewelers, and Academy Sports, with customers regularly reporting display cases in service for 10, 15, and 20 years.

Jahabow manufactures nearly five miles of store fixtures and display showcases annually and uses CAD/CAM software for precision machining that enables it to build cases no other manufacturer has attempted.

Display case types

Upright display cases

Four rows of 12-inch deep shelving for maximum SKU density. Built to stand against a wall or anchor an aisle, in a wide range of finishes.

Full vision and extra vision cases

Two-shelf glass cases with front or rear opening, available with integrated LED lighting Jahabow manufactures to fit its own cases. Front and Extra Vision configurations maximize product visibility.

Tower display cases

Standalone or counter-top towers for small footprint, high-value display. Accessed from framed or frameless glass doors, with spotlight fixtures manufactured in-house.

TDL Secure display cases

Jahabow invented the TDL (Theft Deterrent Level) criteria for secure display cases. The TDL Series sets the industry standard for reducing loss while keeping merchandise visible and accessible to staff.

Wrap counters and register stands

Wrap counters and register stands that integrate with Jahabow glass display cases, available in a range of finishes and configurations including shelves, cabinet doors, locks, and drawers.

Sweep Stopper cases

Attaches to standard gondola shelving and adds a clear locking front panel, keeping product on the shelf and visible while requiring staff assistance to access. Built with a standard lock.

Retail channels and custom capability

Jahabow’s standard range covers the primary retail channels where KCL is active: liquor and spirits retail, cannabis dispensaries, jewellery and luxury goods, sporting goods, pawn, and food service. Beyond the standard line, Jahabow’s engineering team takes on fully custom builds, cases specified to dimensions, finishes, security levels, and configurations that no standard product covers. All manufacturing is done at the Owensville, MO facility.
